Looking for an entry level CX bike for local tracks and trails as a keep fit thing. Don't want to spend big bucks, probably up to £500. Would like discs if possible. Has anyone seen a bargain about?
I'm 5 10 size wise. Looked at the Carerra Cx on offer in Halfords at the moment but can't get past the topping look of it.

Ah, made a classic mistake and had a go on a CDF at the local bike shop. Felt really nice, a bit rich price wise though, hoping for the work bonus to land to stretch to the CDA now.
Saracen Hack 2 at ukbikedepot, 650 down from 1000, and at 5'10 you want the 56 (which actually measures 54).
Got a 2013 at same discount last year and its become my go-to bike. Doing Paris-Roubaix sportif this year with slicks fitted.
