Just had a fantastic fortnight with Bike Verbier - can't fault the way they get everything just right in terms of organisation, accommodation, grub, guides, atmosphere in the chalet etc etc. As for the trails, they were ridiculously varied and unbelievably good, and most of them would have been impossible to find and reach without BV's local knowledge and van/trailer combo. A massive cheers and top marks to Phil, Lucy and the rest of the team. Still grinning about that new epic off the back of the bowl...

Hear you were running a new lightweight tyre, how much lighter was it than a Minion?

Ggggggrrrrrr.
So pissed off we couldn't make it out to meet up this year.

Sounds like we missed out on a good time.
Oh well there's always next year.

A whole pound lighter, cupid - did I mention that?!
Soz we didn't see you this year Singlespeed - like you say, maybe 2013. I'm itching to get back there already. Or meet us in the Lakes sometime...

Have to agree with what wl says about BV....except I wasn't there for a fortnight (only a week) and didn't do the new epic...but I did have a tyre like his and the weight it saved....well just great!

A pound lighter eh, that's nearly as much as you'd save shaving 5mm off your bars each morning...

...oh and also, I heard a rumour that you can save more weight by using oxo cubes for brake pads, is this true?

Aye, soz about that. Think they still have a few places left before the end of the season. Or there's always next year (and no doubt even more new trails)...
