Is it for a small child?
my daughter would like that ๐
Nice bike BTW
It's bigger than Vortexracing's!! er just
still got the green un??
Of course and recently got some Push rockers for it and want to replace the air shock with a coil
I do like that blue. Although Raw is the bestester obviously. 8)
true it's bigger than mine ๐ฏ
looks good
ridden it yet?
just come back from my first ride on mine. Is certainly a bit different to the Ventana, hopefully a more testing ride will be had round the lakes on Saturday.
first impressions are they are very good, pedal amaingly well absolutely no bob. Best way of describing the DH performance on rocky stuff is composed.
enjoy
Nice colour BTW ๐
despite coogans view, he is biased.
Hey not yet Vortex...just off a few curbs earlier can't wait to get out on it..Like you the colour wasn't my first choice, but it's growing on me, well i only had blue, white or yellow to choose from, and i'm not a good enough rider to have a yellow one ๐
and i'm not a good enough rider to have a yellow one
same here, maybe we can both aim to try and reach the 'yellow elitist status'.
question is how good do you have to be to ride a raw one ๐
Beyond awesome. 8)
Beyond awesome
As I suspected. ๐
Luckily for me, no one has asked to see my fake 'RAW BEYOND AWESOME' membership card yet...
rad to the power of sick dude
That blue is nice in the flesh. But it ain't as rad as Raw 8)
Are the raw ones laquered/coated?
My Ventana rear triangle is uncoated and needs a good buff of autosol every now and again to get the polished finish.
Tried it on the 5 spots rear triangle wed night and it seems to have a coating on it.
Spoke to Tom last night about the Alps last week, he said he and Jo where in the same chalet as you two guys, he was on an Orange Hustler.
Looks good.
What were the issues.............. seat-tube reaming ?
Right enough, they were there at the same time. Nope not coated. It's just raw aluminium. Doesn't need polished as it's, well, just raw!
Mine's Raw & apparently obviously Rad!! Damn fine bikes!
Looks like a fun one!
Not coated, just scaffolding effect.
Yep, road with Tom and Jo.
nockmeister,
I do like the build, can i ask what size turner is it?
very tempted to upgrade now.
true it's bigger than mine ...
...but not as big as mine!
maybe we can both aim to try and reach the 'yellow elitist status'.
Does that mean i get to post a picture of mine again? ๐
I think you get extra awesome points for having a pic with graffiti in the background... mine had flowers ๐
That's a medium. They do come up pretty compact. I've got a large and fits perfect at 5'11.
Hmm i've got a medium HL. Sometimes i wish it were longer ๐ณ
Sometimes i wish it were longer
sounds just like my Mrs ๐
Does that mean i get to post a picture of mine again?
I'm sure if you ask nockmeister nicely he won't mind you gate crashing his post.
Yep it'a a medium...From 2009 the top tube length was reduced on the large frame to try and fit the 5'10" 'tweeners..I'm that height and would HIGHLY recommend you try a large..Lots of ppl prefer the large.
I'm going to try a longer stem, as it is a little cramped, but i'm not doing massive drop offs or long all day rides, more Dark Peak tech uphill stuff which i prefer a smaller frame.
hmm maybe we need another Post ur 5Spot pic's 8)
DrSam if ur based in the NW gimme a shout, u can come and try it for sizing?
Ken-shields ygm
Nockmeister, thanks for the offer. I'm in Cardiff though. Still need to decide whether the DW link is better than the HL.
