After reflecting upon my many, many encounters with animals -wild,domestic and apparently rabid- I reckon people must have some belting stories.
Between obstructed and mauled I think is best, no cow tipping fatalities.
Mooo.

On the commute home last year, I was coming down the glen road, round the corner and found a flock of sheep across the road. Hit the brakes, and most of them scarpered ... however, as you would expect, there is always one dafty which just stood there rooted to the spot, exactly where i was skidding too. Just as I got to it, the ruddy thing jumped up and got stuck on top of the front wheel and handlebars. I went flying.
The sheep just looked at me and walked off as though nothing happened.
