Ive got a Nicolai Helius CC, (the older one with a steeper head angle) Having ridden a number of longer travel, slacker angled all-day xc bikes, getting back on the Helius was horrible & twitchy. Is it worth buying an angled headset & a longer set of forks (140mm)? It is either that, or the bike gets sold. Anyone had similar experience?

Got to be worth buying one and trying it out before you go selling the whole bike.

I liked mine so much I bought another... But it's going to vary depending on the bike. Not sure I'd have stuck with the 456 without it, and the Hemlock went from being very good, to being the best bike I've ridden. So, worth it for me.
