Hi all,
A group of us are planning to ride from Manchester to Berlin this summer. We've come across the transeuropean cycle route R1 (referred to as the D3 whilst in Germany) and I wondered if anyone had any experience of using it?
It sounds like the Holland/'West Germany' part is a decent surface but that in the East it gets a bit rougher. Would love to hear from anyone who has done this route!
