Looking at these on ebay
have pointed out rockshox never made a '2 step coil u turn'
which i have been told from the buyer
"and they are 2 step coils not air "
and
"They are the model of forks i described lyrik 2 step u turn coil forks they did make them because this is a pair of them,"
so maybe they have been upgraded from 2 step to coil u turn? or am i going mad and they actually made a 2 step coil (which i'm 100% they didn't)
they made a u turn coil, and a 2 step air.
Never a 2 step coil.
my lyrics say 2 step but are coil. thats because i got joe carter@ sram to change them from air 🙂 🙂
not sure how they cost £900 either 😀
Havent they just release a 2-step coil version, with 2 coils. You compress and lock one out thus reducing travel? That would imply the existing, single coils cant do 2-step?
Also, I thought you got 2-step *or* u-turn, not both? Doesnt make sense to have both.
The guy is from London gav!!!
Yea.. think i'm going to stay away 🙂
They are u turns, says so on the stantion
It's a u-turn. Which is good, because if it were a 2-step it'd explode and then you'd end up converting it to u-turn anyway.
If you're buying, check it has the maxle!
my lyrics also say 2 step but are coil. Two steps are silver lowers.

Nah, not all, mine are black
He's already sold them once and then the buyer sent them back.
Now he's selling them with a no return policy.
Perhaps it's connected to this:
there are some scratches below the steerer tube, i have covered these in black pen to protect them the elements
Perhaps they are more than scratches. I'd avoid.
Black pen. The finest weatherproofing known to man.
2 step is an air valve that increases the size of the air chamber - so nothing to do with a spring its a U turn coil & I'm sure when they stopped using those decals.
Also there is no sign of any previos sales of that fork in his completed listings.
Looks like 1.5 or maybe a tapered steerer. If it's tapered maybe that's what he thinks is 2 step. And the pen covered scratches are shown in one of the shots. So, other than not realising about the steerer tube (prolly why previous buyer sent them back), it doesn't seem too bad.
Ah, I reckon Rickos has it. Maybe someone ought to ask the steerer size and then send him [url=
link explaining 2 step.[/url] 2-step stanchions are marked differently to u-turn too.

Oh and mine dont even say 2-step on them but they have a sag % marker on them.
the seller is an idiot, face it - they are u-turns
and £900 what a joker - two years ago, you could buy these new at around £400 if your shopped around
the maxle is missing as well!
Yea.. i'm staying well away
Missing crucial info: type of steerer, steerer length, type of spring
Where's the pics of receipts?
I despair at some of these ebay ads sometimes
Whats your budget?
Mate has some nearly new 2 steps for sale.
