after 4 rides, my altura shorts are now knackered, massive rip at cross seam right on the undersid. i caught the shorts on the nose of my saddle, but after 4 rides there is no way they should be ripping, the stitching had already come slightly loose but i thought nothing of it. Can anyone reccomend some good shorts that are less than £40
Happened to my brand new semi - dry shorts on the first ride. Merlin warrantied them for me.
I had the same issue a few years ago. Since then have stayed clear and stuck to Endura.
Send them back. Zyro will warranty them.
Never had a problem with my two pairs.
They're not supposed to be worn as hot pants.

Been wearing Altura shorts & tights for the last 3/4 years & not had the slightest problem. Get them sent back to Zyro via whoever you bought them from
So you ripped them through clumsiness and now you're complaining? Good show.
FWIW, 3 pairs of Alturas here, 2 Mayhems and a pair of Attacks, worn constantly, crashed in, all as good new.
