[#9996924]

Looking for a slightly larger diameter dry bag for a front fork mount.  I was planning on buying the Salsa Anything Cage bags, but was surprised at hoe narrow the diameter was.  I have the titanium Alpkit stove and that would not fit inside the bag.

Any suggestions for alternative bag makers?

I use alpkit 3L drybags in my anything cages,

https://www.alpkit.com/products/airlok-xtra-3-litre These ones. Decent quality for a tenner.

I'd try an Alpkit Airlock Xtra.

Edit: beaten to it.

I have this Alpkit pot set.  Will it fit in the bag you mention?

Pot set has an external diameter of 14.2cm

Bag has a packed diameter of 15cm

It should fit snuggly.

Why do you need a drybag for a stove. The mesh bag the pot set came it will do everything it needs no?

Alpkit Xtra - they have reinforcing patches you can put the straps through as fork-mounted bags have a habit of shaking themselves loose, plus the Salsa straps aren't the most secure.

Bend the cages a little, and use Voile straps

https://www.ghyllside.co.uk/shop-by-brand/voile-straps.html

The salsa ones are ok but with the constant rattle they come loose, the Voile ones are rubber so can be overtightened so they grip much more effectively. My wife’s running two large diameter water bottles on her Trolls forks using these, no problem in 12000 miles of constant use.
