Does anyone have experience with Alpkit's jeans, I can't decied whether to get the average or slim fit. I have normal cyclists thighs, but I think I'd prefer the slime fit.

Want to know if they'll be too tight in the leg. Whist we at it, are the waists UK or US inches?

I've got both skinny and regular - the skinny are like normal jeans and the regular are huge! I'm quite skinny and I've seen fatter legs hanging out of a nest but the regular are baggy, I even have to turn them up!

I wear the regular fit 32/24 and the slim 32 and 34 waist ones wouldn't go over my thighs and I'm only 12 stone if that's any help. The regular are a comfy/slightly baggy fit for me

I've got big quads so always go for baggy sizes. I've got the looser ones and they're just right.

Im quite slim and the skinny look large on me, good fit though.

Anyone find the "waterproofing" disappears very quickly?

It will if you wash it with conditioner. Tho the 'proofing' tends to wear off the surface with use anyway, it still retains its ability to shed water in the fibres, so you can get a bit wet but they dry in 1/10th of the time of normal jeans.

I did wash my first pair with conditioner, but I've been scrupulously careful with my second pair and if anything they seem to have gone downhill quicker!

As Stato says though they are still a huge improvement on regular jeans and do indeed dry out very quickly.

Regular 34's fit fine, they're not huge around the ankles in a new-rock style. really nice jeans for the money.
