Alpinetrek.co.uk obviously have a UK website, but I gather that they're in Germany. Their website is saying that customs fees are covered so if I buy from them will there be any further charges to the price I pay on checkout? I think that they use Evri as their courier.
I've bought from Bike Inn without issue but I think that they ship to a UK warehouse.
I bought from them a while ago. £155 ish at checkout with no extra charges on delivery. Unfortunately I needed to return the item and got shortchanged on the exchange rate by about a fiver on top of the £3.99 I paid for return postage.
I didn't get charged any extra when I bought a 12sp GX cassette a few months back (cheaper than any UK shop). Assumed they have a UK warehouse? Great to deal with too and would shop with them again.
I didn't get charged extra, but the £250 sleep pad came in a torn open box, badly repacked and dirty, and returning it was not an easy process
