frist carbon frame for me just wanted to know what OP use to lubricate the post ,will wp grease be fine. and HAPPY CHRISTMAS ๐
No grease, it can delaminate the carbon and cause it to swell, carbon paste is the stuff you want..

Or nothing.
Carbon Assembly Paste (goes by various other names).
Essential for ali into carbon. Aside from reducing the clamping force required it helps a lot with reducing galvanic corrosion. Carbon + Ali (or steel) + water (with salt even better) = seat post bonded to frame.
And it's no myth. Happened to me after the paste I had applied had worn off due to constant shifting of post up and down and then leaving the thing in the frame for a couple of weeks without riding. Took a big hammer to free it and the post has a lot of corrosion marks on it now (the frame seems okay however).
Some manufacturers now recommend the paste on posts and bars, even just for ali stuff on ali/steel frames etc.
Cherrs people Merry Christmmas ๐
