Had a quick browse at the aldi stuff last night and found they had knee length trail shorts with a removable padded liner. Seemed pretty good...
Anyone tried them?
got a pair of the 3/4 length brown ones. They're not bad - the outer short is a little bit thin but surprisingly comfy. The inner is not so good, the legs aren't long enough and ride up my thighs and the waist is too low at the back so ends up sliding down a bit, - but for 13 quid pretty damn good
yeah i was thinking for shorter local rides and even those odd rides to the pub/shop etc..

First time I've ever needed a large, and they'd sold out!
yeah i will skip straight to XL nowadays unfortunately.
bit tricky to try them on in aldis too esp. next to the freezer isle 😉
