As the title suggests- I’m looking at buying a insulated jacket and long sleeve jersey form Albion Cycling.
Was wondering if anyone as any sizing advice.

How do they compare to other brands like castelli, Rapha, Assos….

I’m 6ft tall and generally wear XL in Rapha non pro team and 2xl in castelli.

Any advice to help appreciated

Thanks

I think they're "punishment" sizing aren't they?

Chipps reviewed the insulated vest a while back and wore an XL,  and he's normal sized (5'9" and 12stone - ish)

Thanks- that’s helpful. I’m in between sizing so I think I’ll size up.

Yeah, wise move, I think the vest (and the armed jacket version) are designed to be roadie tight. Search on here for the review, there are some pics I think.

I'm a medium in Castelli and have the Albion insulated jacket in medium too, sizing seems similar.

My experience is the Albion insulated jacket is a bit of a odd fit, fairly slim fitting on the body but sleeves are too baggy especially from the elbows down so flap around a bit too much for my liking.

I suspect that jacket is about to appear in the magazine we’re just sending to the printer!

Have you tried the Zoa range? I have last years Zoa insulated jacket got my normal size and its fine. its supposed to be on/off bike stuff so have a less roadie fit.

I'm 6ft 2, 88kg, 35" waist and wear a large in the long sleeve jersey and large in the Winter tights.

I bought a medium Merino base layer and it was a touch too small when i first tried it on. It seems OK now so either its stretched or I've lost some timber!

Its decent kit, would buy more if i didn't get hit for VAT/import duty when shipping to Dublin!

Oh and i generally move between medium/large in Rapha kit dependent on range (classic vs pro team)
