Won't be long before riders are redundant in terms of MTB video content...
Clearly still in the uncanny valley a bit, but video generated from a text prompt by Sora.
Does it create from scratch or need a seed video? Wasn’t clear in the article I read.
Not sure about the MTB video itself, but it appears to be able to work from a pure text prompt, a single still image, or a video 'seed'.
Sora's own launch blurb reads like all the examples they've released are from pure text, but they might well be being disingenuous...
Everything created from scratch. They do explain vaguely how it works on one of their blogs. Incredibly impressive. Could seriously disrupt YouTube etc creators if anyone can create a viral video just from their phone in a few minutes!!
I think technically it'll be scouring youtube, vimeo, pornhub, whatever for "seed" videos but it looks like it generates the actual videos from scratch.

I'm thinking of game creators. If this stuff can be created on the fly then the possible uses are almost limitless.
