Went up to Ae today ,Sunday,after a dump of snow last Friday just for a look see thinking there might be a few folk around-zilch-nobody although there was fresh tracks on the red.Gave that a go for a couple of hours,riding,sliding,walking;a good workout but,with only half the route done beat a retreat down the fireroad.Discretion and all that.Good fun though.PS.dropped rear tyre press right down and got some good traction in the most unlikely situations.
Cyclop, would you recommend it? I was thinking of nipping up there tomorrow or Tuesday? We were up in similar conditions two weeks ago and it was ace.

Probably more snow now but still worth a thrash round for a different cycling experience-don,t start later than 11am though.
