The rubber grips on my bike have been on for the last 10 years but now I need to remove them to swap my brakes over
(The brake levers are so old they do not unbolt and must be slid off the bars)
Ive tried the gentle approach (the bars are 10y old carbon!) which isnt working so any top tips to get the buggers off would be appreciated

Squirt GT85 or hairspray between the bar and grip. An old knitting needle can be carefully used to open up a gap to get it all started.
don't know about carbon but i usually slide a thin screwdriver under then spray gt 85 under grips .that seems to do the trick .bit of twisting and away they go !
Gentle application of a Stanley knife works for that. Just pry the grip up a bit, cut a bit and then keep lifting and cutting. (Assuming you don't want to keep the grips, that is!)
Poke a small hole in the end of one grip.
Insert blow gun into hole.
Attach blowgun to air hose.
Attach air hose to compressor.
Pull trigger on blow gun and watch as 120PSI blows both grips off. 😀
