[#2121612]

Have just bought a scott scale with rocket rons fitted. They are very light (450g) but not good in the damp and puncture really easy.

Does anyone know a tyre with similar weight but good grip?

Many thanks

HV

Nobby Nics, same construction just more knobbly. they will be heavier than the Rons though.

I like mine a lot.

Bonty Mud X's, only slightly heavier, but also tubeless ready so you could gain the weight difference back by going tubeless.

Best wet/muddy/winter tyre out there IMO... For XC use that is, as it's only a 2"

Not sure about their weight but I've been using Panaracer Cinders for years. They seem pretty light and have always given me loads of confidence

maxxis advantage folding 2;1's; good today in hertfordshire mud, slid alarmingly but the edges saved the day.
