I seem to remember Benji H did a review on these tyres a while back, and he mentioned that one particular compound is much better than the others (I think it was either the 60a or 'eXCeption' (62a?)). Can anyone tell me which was the favoured compound please. TIA.
60a i imagine. I use the LUST version on the rear in the summer...a superb tyre in on hardpack or rocky trails.
I used a 60a on the rear for 18 months just changed it for an Ardent.
Nice fast tyre gripped better than I thught it would run it tubless with Stans, burped it at Kielder on a drop off 🙂
the 62a version. I have had the 70a in the past and it was fine in the dry but show it something wet and it was more slippery than a slippy thing.
i like the 2.2 62a version though, seems ok even in mud.
