Well about two weeks ago i finally built my lovely transition cover bike.
But me and the miss's have been talking and after all thats happened to us lately she really wants to get away.
but this come at a price of selling the bike!!! 👿
Now i know im going to make a big big loss but do i stay selfish and keep the bike which would make me happy or sell and go someplace to let our hair down and try and relax. (we have never had a holiday and been together for 8years)
please help

What size is it and how much do you want for it?

Seems silly to sell such a lovely bike for a holiday. Is there no other way you can scrape money together? Does she have a shoe/jewellery collection? 😉

I sold the car back in october as we needed a bigger one for the kids..(twins)
and after loosing George makes me think i should get another car. just to get us out now and again. being stuck indoors dont help....
But then again we have public transport..

Sell it (looks like you can get a couple grand?), buy a cheap do-it-all hardtail for £500 ish, bingo, 1.5k at least on a nice holiday.

Mate, I really feel for you - that is a shitter!! At the end of the day, If you value your relationship, and really think she needs a break, and there is no other option, the bike needs to go. I like the idea above of building up a cheap Hardtail.
Maybe STW can build a bike for you from spare parts? I have a spare set of 680mm Raceface bars to donate?
