Hi all,
Going on an impromtu break next week for a few days to North Wales. No specific plans as yet, just taking the bike and looking to get a bit further South than my usual Llandegla riding. Also planning on hiking up Snowdon one day. Not too fussed on specific areas as happy to drive a bit so any recommendations that would work for Snowdon / Coed y Brenin / Machynlleth sort of areas? Not looking for budget stuff, but obviously don't need 5 star.
Thanks.
Theres a YHA att he base of the PYG track if your on a budget, would make a cool ride as the start of the miners track is rideable, then it turns to an unridable footpath/scramble. Go down the rangers path, and climb back up the road from Llanberis.
Bump
I've not been there but people seem to speak highly of Ty'n y Groes.
