Hi
Thinking of going to BPW for a couple of days/nights over the May day bank holiday - never been before so was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere they had stayed in the area. There will be four of us and happy to go self catering or B&B etc.

Thanks FJ

We stayed here last night it was very good Nightingales - 0.5 miles
Nightingale Street, Abercanaid , CF48 1DX
A modern home to let in Abercanaid for groups or individuals looking for a self catering place to stay whilst visiting BikePark Wales. Situated just 1 mile away from the Bike Park and backing onto the Taff Trail this modern house has all the facilities you will need to make your stay in Merthyr Tydfil relaxing. We have bike storage and washing facilities on site and amenities include WIFI, TV, and a kitchen with washing machine and full appliances. The house can sleep up to 7 guests plus there is a sofa bed available

I'd advise booking ASAP. We tried booking for Easter weekend and everywhere was fully booked, I'd imagine it'll be a similar story May bank holiday.

Stayed at the butchers a couple of times now. Quirky bloke running it but good and cheap - last time I stayed it was £45 for bed, breakfast, dinner and beers. Can't complain!
