Off there next week with the family - so looking for tips for local rides i.e. from the town as in holiday home, and also the local area (preferably with something to do for the family while im out on teh bike)

I lived there for 5 years and the riding is slim pickings-go and see Si at flipside jewellery (aber uchaf) and he'll fill in the details...as long as you take biscuits.
There really isn't much off-road on the Lleyn at all - although I suppose at this time of year you might get away with some cheeky stuff. I have a nice 17 mile road loop from the village round Garn Fadryn - a couple of nice hills on that 🙂
Otherwise it's a case of heading back into Snowdonia.
hmm - thanks guys, i may have to take the darkside bike, or try and arrange some "family days" on the side of mountains (though with 2 kids 1 under 10 months old...that may be pushing it 🙁
I hear there's good sailing to be had in the bay......
