Can you all please keep your 'What light' requests until the nights start drawing in. Its the middle of ****ing summer. Enjoy the now.

Unless its bivvy related obviously!

Well I dunno I got home 2200hrs after riding with peeps from 1800 and it was pitch black, rain and couldn't see anything with a £50 cycle light.

So what light do you recommend?

nah just kidding

But are the prices cheaper now and peeps are getting ready for winter already.

I finished the Summit race wednesday night and was cursing the last lap as it was so ferkin dark in the woods, and my DX torch thingy was in my drawer at home.... Or was it cos I rode so slow?

Dark in the woods at 9.00 now. Need lights. Ergo people will ask about them.

Agreed, in the trees its lighting up time now at 9pm.

Awwww, relax, can't beat a good midsummer's night ride out in them hills!

Last year we were deliberately setting off to Cwmcarn at 9pm to get a few dry and fresh night laps in!

Geoff - you gotta take into consideration that it gets dark earlier in Englandshire

Ridden with lights all summer, lets me stay out longer, Average ride on Mendip starts at 7pm and end 10.45pm.

Lights all year for me

Needed the lights for the last hour up the Chase last night
Hate to break it to you but well past the middle of summer

There seems to be some notion by the OP that night riding is something done out of necessity, not choice 🙂
