We're planning on heading up next week to visit a couple or three of the Stanes trail centers.
Any recommendations for bike friendly B&Bs or Bunkhouses near Mabie? Thinking for there is to allow us reasonable access to Mabie, Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree, but suggestion for nearer Dalbeattie are also welcome.

Assuming you've ruled out Mabie itself?
They don't have availability for the dates we want - so I never got as far as checking prices (assuming you mean Mabie House Hotel).

There's Gorsebank next to Dalbeattie which always gets well rated. Depending on numbers, Ae Barn is damn nice - self catered though but theres the cafe just over the road

The Pu<span style="font-size: 0.8rem;">b/restaurant next to this place is amazing, easily the best food in D&G.</span>
Solway view near Kirkcudbright. Easy to get to all three some cheeky wee jumps on barrhill in kbt itself.

Have stayed at Gorsebank a few times and always enjoyed it. Bonus is that you can ride to Dalbeattie from the door.
