I'm after a cheap turbo trainer just to keep the legs ticking over. I borrowed a friends one in the summer and quite enjoyed it. I'll use it with a flat bar 700c Charge Grater.

The Planet X fluid one is back to 'half price', so £72 posted. Worth it?

I'm pretty sure it's a rebrand but I'm not sure of what!

In truth I'd get what's in stock, in your budget. Proper lockdown in January.

Hens. Teeth.

that looks quite a lot like an older Kinetic turbo if memory serves (mind, they're all pretty similar). I bought a Kinetiic from P-X years and years ago, so maybe....

If it is that - bombproof and quite nice to ride on. Not "smart" in any way, obvz

(mine was older than the green paintjobs but I think the basics are same)

Half tempted to order one for my sis, there's talk of her trying to finally ride her practically unused 11-month old bike, after a wrist op didn't go well a week or two after the purchase... A slip/slide in wintery conditions would be disasterous for her confidence.

Might be a good purchase at that price mate. Yeah, a fall on the ice at the moment onto an arm or hand wouldn't be great.
