About to fit a Hope crank to a mate's threaded frame. The Hope 30mm BB is a tad steep (£73 on CRC with BC discount).
Any others that are worth considering?
I'm thinking maybe Wheels Mfg, Rotor might do them? Not really looked yet.

can you swap out the bearings on the Hopes, like you can with their 24mm versions?

yeah
£15 - £20 per bearing, unless you can find an alternative supplier.
