Difference in weight is very marginal, indeed sids and rebas share the same lowers for 2012. Sid has the motion control dna damping whereas reba use standard motion control. Sids have a machined alloy piston whereas rebas have a steel one (saves c.30g IIRC). The sid's decals are also underneath the lacquer wheras the reba's are plain, poverty-spec stickers.
I'll most likely buy rebas from here for a lot less.

Just bought SID RCT3 from bike-components.de and awaiting its arrival. Seems these german online shops have the best deals at present and i've been scouring the web quite a bit

For the money the X-Fusion forks are very hard to beat. Also just got a set of the new Maguras to test and initial impressions are very good indeed.

Can't find any Fox within his budget. I prefer the Fox myself and have them on my Giant 29.

X-Fusion, Hmmmm. He's a bit blinkered to new ideas, i'm not convinced he'd fly with anything that's not a RS or Fox.
