I am thinking about putting a 29+ wheel and tyre on the front of my inbred 29er, I already run salsa chromoto fork so am pretty sure it will just be a wheel and tyre to buy. Anyone else done this? What do you think?

Do it. I had an Inbred and now have a Stooge with a Knard up front. No reason it won't be a blast on the Inbred.

Running a dually, currently with a nobby nic in a std swift fork atm until better 29+ tyres arrive then I'll swap to the new singular fork. Makes the nobby nic look very wide!

Will be building a Dually onto mine next week, to run in a Niner steel fork.

Have a 120tpi Knard on the way already.
(£53 posted by the way, from all-terrain-cycles I think they are called).

Made a decent improvement on my Stooge.

Went from a Stans Flow rim with Knard ! to a Rabbit Hole

At higher speed you really feel the gyroscopic effect which is nice

Much higher tyre volume too, along with ability to run even lower pressure

Another Stooge 29+ front here. Feels great, rabbit holes give the tyre a great profile and no noodling.
Similarly waiting for better wet weather 29+ tyres. Plenty in the pipeline, apparently...

We've got to stop mentioning Stooge - it's eveywhere I look!

Any more and it will stop being niche 🙂
