Looking at a set of Fox 36 Grip2 forks in 160mm travel. It was mentioned that they come Off the shelf as 170/180mm flavour and are reduced to 160mm prior to dispatch from SilverFish.
Anyone know if this is done internally or as I suspect by swapping the Evol NA air shaft for a 160mm one?
I intend to run them in 160mm but the frame will take 170mm so if the option was there to try it that would be ideal.
Looking at the Fox website it appears that the different travel relate to different component number air springs so I suspect that that is the case.
