Esp all you 29er riders, but anything else coz its all good!
Giant xtc 29er in carbon!
Trek.
Only company that appears to have dropped their prices.
Had a quick look at some of the 2012 models in my LBS this afternoon, they look very nice indeed.
Scott spark, normal wheels though!
Any lighter weight 100mm 29 fs out this year, pref frame only? Hope the Ibis turns up at eurobike, should be good for a drool.
Sure does....looking at a bit lower down the price scale.
salsa are rubbish, you'd never catch me owning one of them
I'm looking forwards to the exploding 29er wheels.
What's the raw fs? Looks purposeful.

😆
Come on stu bet you have your eye on something.

salsa horsethief, it's the replacement for the big mama
Horsethief? What a marvelous name.

TBH.I'm trying not to look at any new stuff as i'm trying to save some cash for a custom built Nicolai tandem frame.
Though some of the 140mm full suss 29ers that are due out look kind of tempting as an alternative to my last remaining 26er. 😕
dont fancy the veinetta on classifieds? have nic done a tandem before?
Horsethief? What a marvelous name.
Maybe named after the Horsethief Bench trail near Fruita?
I struggled to walk down this bit that drops you into it 🙂
Kona Honzo ?
Are they the US version of tons northern 'can you ride this' posse?
The veinatta's the wrong size for us.
Nic sent me a few drawing of custom tandems.
One of them was a 180mm rear travel that was built to take a Boxxer fork 😯
We're looking at a more sensible 150mm rear for a 170 fork.
Nothing sensible about that, but sounds like great fun!
Does that need the long cage mech?
Looks good apart from that
The 9-36 tooth hope cassette looks interesting.
Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo is looking pretty good if it ships as previewed with a dropper post, wide bars, 20mm Revs, 2x10 with bash, etc and hits the sub-28lb mark and sub-£2k price. One of the few bikes I've seen for next year that I don't think I'd want to change anything on straight out of the box. Colours are a bit more subdued for next year too:

Could tempt me back on to a full sus for the first time in over a decade.
Rorschach.
Were you sat on the pan when you took that picture? 😯
Quite keen to see how that new Genesis (Solitude) 29er turns out, once they've finished fiddling with it.
Lots of (subjective) appeal - black, skinny steel tubed 29er - what's not to like?
Tho' with the next batch of Gryphon's having rack eyes, the short-list for the 2012 bike-build is getting longer ...
camber 29er.
(if speccy decide to let me buy one)
Trek slash looks good, full carbon Spicy with normal BB shell could be my ideal bike if I had a spare £5k kicking around
think I'll be getting a discounted 2011 bike instead though!

this thread has some great lookers. the ktm looks good.
Just got some 2012 Deore brakes, not posh at all but at £43 each end they offer great power and Shimano reliability. Have to get used to how strong the initial bite is and stop locking up but one finger braking is a doddle.
Surly Moonlander, even more fat than the pugsley, this will fly on the dunes 😀
Got ma pre order in... 😉

Thanks for posting that.
There are some interesting looking bikes over on that thread and some right ole' horrors of course too! 😛
(Subjectively) Most usefully ... there's more Genesis pictures linked from it - an' I'm liking the classic simplicity of it the more I see it.
