came with linear pull 'v' brakes.
can't get my guards to clear the linear brake.
specialized have sent some canti's as an apology, but has anyone out there managed to fit guards to a 'v' braked tricross and how ?

ive got them on mine.
Mines are tortec reflectalites
man - i cant get clearance with sks chromoplastics and the std tektro v-brakes ! ? !
perhaps i'm not trying hard enough ?
I have sks chromoplastics BUT have put XT V's on as I had a 'spare' set

im running avid single digits - again cause i had a spare set and the tektro models were shit
perhaps the tektro's have limitd leverage , therefore clearance then ? ! ?
The tektrs where an odd shape and seemed to lose power especially in the wet XT makes a big difference
My rear went on okay but I had to make a little plate with two holes in to drop the front one low enough to get under the brake cabel. Bonty guards by the way.
