Hi, I am servicing the lowers of my 2008 Reba Race dual air. Have heard you can increase travel to 120mm on some models. Do you think it might be possible to do this on my forks? I am comfortable doing the lowers but a bit more skeptical about opening up the dual air side to go poking around for spacers.

Should I just leave it alone and go with 100mm or risk screwing something up only for an extra 20mm?

Any sensible advice welcomed!

You will need to check to see if there is a spacer, and that the rebound assembly is long enough.

115mm that year (had a pair). and yes, if there's a black plastic clip on the air side which very likely is.

not too hard just undo circlip on lower end of the upper tube, slide out, unclip spacer (doesn't need whole stack removed like the newer ones) and slide back in.

no longer use mine 'cos of other problems :/ (stanchion and dropout damage) but the travel adjust was easy and well worth doing.
