Halfway down a descent there was an unusual clunk and pretty sudden loss of damping.
Before I spend money on tools to open her up does anyone know if this is a common failure mode? Any chance it simply became ‘disconnected’ internally? If it’s snapped my most likely option will be a replacement fork off eBay due to the age and dimensions. Looks like Fox don’t have any info on products before 2014 on their website 🙁
Anyone got an old enduro fork they want to shift? 26” wheel / 1.1/8” steerer, 20 mm bolt through, 160 or more travel, not fussy on brand or spring or damper.
thanks all,
M
