What would you go for? still exotic? - I have the old on one carbon forks on my single speed and those are perfectly fine

I had a pair of the One-one carbon rigid forks on my now retired and broken 853 Inbred.
Exotic ones are not much different IMHO, got a pair on the El Mariachi that replaced the Inbred.

No reason to get anything else.
The only difference between exotic and the on-one is the on-one has a less attractive crown.

I disagree. I remember the On-one being much firmer with less flutter, and the Exotic is a fair bit more compliant. I prefer a steel fork but if I was to go back to carbon then Pace RC31 would be my choice.
