I have decided it is time to swap my 15 years old cranks and get down with the kids.
But there doesn't seem to be any available without the enormous covid premium attached.
Any hints?

Not sure anyone would be able fulfil such a big order, and wouldn’t an even number be preferable?

I’ll show myself out.

I've got some 165mm zees in a cupboard. got less than a year of use before I bought a new bike (so probably have the outer coating worn)..

Are Shimano cranks still all the same length with the hole drilled in slightly different places? I seem to remember reading that somewhere.

I don't think that's ever been the case.

@zerocool it wasn't Shimano but there was/is a brand who does them like that. For OEM cranks only iirc. I'll see if I can remember who it was and get back to you.

Raceface do that for the cheaper models. I had 175mm and 170mm aeffect cranks where this was obviously the case.

I was looking for 165mm cranks yesterday, only found a couple of expensive carbon sets TBH.

https://hollandbikeshop.com/en-gb/bicycle-parts-mtb/mtb-crankset/crankset-single-speed/shimano-slx-m7120-1-crankset-boost-32t-12s-165mm-black-698753/
/blockquote>

The headline price isn't the final price...

Just found these though:

IsConfusion.

What's the problem?

I added two to my basket for that price. Can't see an issue.

£12.50 postage plus, possibly, further import charges\tax?

ETA : by the checkout stage its over £100

Wow, that hollandbikeshop is impenetrable.

Outcome: The price they display on the page is sans VAT. If you add more than 130 quids worth then they leave the vat off. If you buy less then they add it on at the checkout in a completely opaque way.

I've got some 165mm XT 8100 that I did two rides with and swapped for 170mm. @OP message me if you are interested.

@tonyg2003: I could be if OP isn't. I am also on the 165mm crank hunt 🙂

I could have been clearer earlier, my slightly worn zee cranks are also up for grabs if someone prefers a slightly sturdier build 🙂

Only the older ones I believe. Got/had recent sets of 165, 170 and 175mm Aeffects and the arms are different for each. I have an older set of 170mm Rides and they are longer but with the holes drilled further up.
