In the market for some 100mm forks for my Merida 96 Team FS.
Pretty much narrowed it down to these 2. Suspect the fox will be plusher, is cheaper by a lot but weighs 134g more. The SID (2013 dual air version) would complement an ultimate WW build but is a LOT more expensive - anyone know what the suspension performance is like and how the 2 stack up.

FIT damper will have better performance than the XX damper. If it was an RCT3 damper it would be slightly less clear cut performnace wise though.

XX damper adds weight too. Normal WC is lighter and cheaper and would get my vote.

Need straight 1 and 1/8" steerer, want remote (not RCT3 it would appear).
Why is rockshox range so sodding confusing with crap weight comparison ability?
