Does anyone know of any online guides for serviceing my sid team's.
Any advice greatly appreciated ๐
what exactly do you want to do to them ? full seal replacement or just a clean up and oil change ?
If the latter just follow a reba photo guide but use sid oil heights.
You will need a 10mm deep drive socket with a hole large enough to go over the negative air chamber though
Just a clean up and oil change really. Im not to clued up on forks but like to give things a go if i can follow a good guide. Ive been servicing my totems (not the actual mission control mind)ive just been changing the lube baths and re greaseing the seals and it sweetens them up. I was wondering if i could do the same sort of minor service on my sids.

sorry for the double posts, im a bit click happy ๐
yep.
easy job - 15 mins - half an hour for the first attempt maybe.
as i say internals are nigh on the same as rebas -let the air out. remove the motion control and empty oil .... clean - replace...
rebuild the top end ....
remove the foot nuts - remove the bottom of the fork - clean the seals and insert the lubricant oil - iirc its about 15ccs or something cant quite remember.
Reassemeble/inflate and ride . Make sure the rebound adjuster is fully home or it can fall out - its held in by an oring just .
I set mine and removed it ....little weight saving haah ๐
Top stuff trial_rat thanks, ill give them a go this week, like to keep on top of these things instead of running them in to the round first.
Good point about the rebound adjuster, my totem one went walk about long ago ๐
