    Have we mentioned bacon frazzles…

I don’t actually know what my limit is on those bad boys…

    Supported by lager.

Crisps. Any crisps but I bloody love Walkers Max Jalapeño & Cheese. I just can’t stop myself.

If the kids are getting stuck into the crisps I tell them to slow down, it’s unhealthy etc. As soon as they turn their back I’ll devour the lot! I can easily put a large bag away… with dip.

    I disgust myself.

Crisps are nice but any overly salt n vinegary ones give me acid reflux after a bag, so the Co-Op / Kettle / that type of crisps are a no go, although very tasty.

Most dangerous for me are good ol Walkers ready salted. Could go through a multipack easily if desired.

However, I can typically eat most sweet/chocolate/biscuit/cake/pudding things in excess, which maybe linked to the current 120Kg. Slightly OT but what annoys me is the move away from sugar into additives and sweeteners – if I want to taste sugar, let me do so. Nasty aftertastes from sweeteners is rank.

We probably need a breakout thread as things you could eat loads of are not necessarily your favourites. For example my favourite snack thing is a Sainsburys millionaires shortbread. Hardly ever shop there but the little single bar in the pre packed sandwich section is about as close to perfection as it gets for a feel good snack to me. The gazillion calories worth of fat and sugar suggests it is probably best not eaten every day.

Flippin eck. Think have discovered personal holy grail of snax

    Graze Marmite Crunch

Roasted corn, broad beans and corn hoops in a yeast extract seasoning
High in fibre. Made with veg. A feel-good alternative to nuts and crisps.

Half price at Waitrose at the minute so tried a bag last week and a bag this week (to run further trials)

    Scores highest:

    ✅ With beer
    ✅ With wine
    ✅ With no drink
    ✅ Mega-moreish
    ✅ Fattening (440 calories per 100g)
    ✅ Umami-tastic
    ✅ Make your fingers stink
    ✅ Salty
    ✅ Interesting shapes and textures
    ✅ Needs strong teeth
    ✅ Mouthfeel

I’m not mad-keen on Marmite in it’s regular form (don’t dislike, but it’s a bit overpowering) yet these things are beast-level savoury-bombs. Clever because I can still taste the corn, it’s quite intense and pleasant. Read some reciews since and

    ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 out of 5 stars.
Amazing even if you’re a hater!
Don’t be put off by the fact that they’re ‘Marmite’, honestly they’re so good :) I was a hater until recently and I can still only tolerate it in small doses but these are amazing.

    Correct.

For me this is a (better-than) good alternative to pork scratchings (along with the Hanover’s Jalapeño pretzels). Now want to try the BBQ ones…

Discovered Aldi Specially Selected Sea Salt & Chardonnay Vinegar Hand Cooked Crisps today.
Can confirm that a share size bag sure as hell isn’t for sharing…

Wonder if those Aldi crisps are coming out of the same factory as the Co-op ones. Someone needs to volunteer to do a side by side taste test.

Consider it done! I’ll rope the Binnerettes – both crisp connoisseurs- in for a second opinion

I’ll have to give the Aldi crisps a go. The Co-op ones are awesome!

I’ve recently become addicted to these. All mini cheddars are good, but these things are the best by far.

Presently on offer in Mozzers for a quid for six bags. That should see me through the afternoon 😃

Tell me more about Paprika Tuc biscuits? I’ve never even seen those, but that sounds like a dream combination

Binners, they’re ace. Usually on offer in the supermarkets here so I have to avoid the biscuit aisle.

Fairly recently discovered pine nuts, think they must be coated in cocaine or something similar, have cleared the local b&m out of their entire stock (yes, this means I have a problem)

Biscuits. I won’t stop eating them until I run out or I throw up

Mrs Fazzini buys the large boxes of biscuits, e.g. Family Circle, to give as part of Xmas gifts etc. They do not see middle of December normally. I am a particular fan of Jammie Dodgers, custard creams, chocolate homewheats, chocolate hobnobs etc al.

I don’t like crisps and don’t really eat snacks. but OMG I can put away a box of Carrs Salt and Pepper Flatbreads in one sitting. Dunking not required…

Now, I DO like crisps, and snacks – especially Sainsburys party mix snacks, but I am also 100% with you on this one! Preferably served up with a bottle or two of Malbec/Shiraz…probably explains a lot :(

Off the back of this thread, I bought some LMc mozzarella burgers.

One eaten, the second in the bin.

As they would say in France, degueulasse.
