    Are you after a chain set that is specifically 1X or would for example a 3X chain set be ok running only the middle position ring ? That’s what many folk including myself do with no drawbacks really ..it just means much cheaper 2nd hand and all you do is buy an inexpensive narrow wide chainring ( £7? ) of your choice off eBay . I’ve been riding steep devon hills like this for years with no issues + a great chain line . Sorry if you know all this already ! I have various used but suitable Shimano 68/73mm chainsets in 170mm mainly hollowtech 2 if you are interested …not far from you in Exeter. Message if of interest. Cheers, Bill
