Orbit Velocity Electric Assist Tandem in 20/16” – sized for 5’9″ captain and 5’4″ stoker in the photos, with plenty of room for adjustment either way. It’s a great bike, but we have found that we prefer a flat bar tandem so this needs to find a new home

The Velocity EP801 is designed and built in the Yorkshire Dales using Shimano’s top of the range mid-drive motor and is perfectly suited to the hills. The low gearing will take you up the steepest of climbs and the 3 brakes will take you down the steepest of descents with confidence.

The Velocity can take plenty of luggage with the front fork being rack compatible too, and it’s 48 spoke wheels make it a great touring machine.

Wheels are 48 spoke alex rims with their own Orbit hubs Cassette is 11 – 46. I think it is a sunrace.
Drive chainring is 38. All 3 chainrings are 38 tooth
Shifters are Shimano 105
TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes front and rear.
Cantilever parking brake operated with a bar end shifter
Front bars are Deda Superzero. 42 Cm C to C
Stoker bars are Satori. 48 Cms C to C
Pilot saddle tip to centre of steerer tube is 16 inches.
110mm stem Motor control on a little switch on a bar attached to steerer tube. Easy to change with thumb while on tops of bars.
Shimano steps motor – 250 watt output with 3 modes.
504 W/hour battery
Marathon ebike specific tyres.
Happy to provide more photos or to discuss any questions you may have. I’m based between Manchester and The Peak District if you want to come and try it, or get in touch if you have ANY questions about it
