Fully custom built, Norco Torrent, hardcore hardtail.
I built this as a fourth bike (alongside my full sus, gravel, and road). It’s barely been used and where it has been used it’s definitely not been hardcore. Mainly for pootling around with the kids. :( I’ve continued to take out my full sus whenever things got serious.
The build used a mix of new/used parts with the aim of being rock solid, high quality, and at a sweet spot of price:performance.
Overall it’s in very good condition. The tyres still have the little rubber bits as the bike has barely been used!
Spec is as shown in the photos although the pedals are NOT included. I can offer some different pedals if you need some but the Burgtec’s have been removed and are on my other bike.
Frame: Norco Torrent (Large)
Fork: Lyrik Ultimate
Wheels: DT Swiss XM1650 (These are EX511 rims on 350 hubs with straight pull spokes and centrelock discs)
Tyres: Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR (EXO and EXO+)
Brakes: Shimano Saint (with ice-tec rotors 200mm front and 180mm rear)
Groupset: Shimano XT 12 speed with SLX cranks (Oval NW chainring) and cassette
Seatpost: PNW Loam dropper with PNW trigger
Bars: Renthal fatbar alloy
Stem: Renthal
Saddle: your choice of 4 (Fabric, SDG, Specialized, or Ergon)
Pedals: none
As you can see, this is a high spec build. I’d also sell as frame and/or fork.
