This bike has been through two young’uns and now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.

Ideally this goes as a full package for a kid / supportive parent.

This is a proper little FS bike and has been a load of fun for them to ride over the last two years. It comes with two pairs of wheels – 24″ and 26″ – so the bike can grow with them, a dropper post and disc brakes.

Frame: Kona One20 Primo: this is an old 16″ scandium frame and is lovely and light. The lower shock bolt has a habit of working loose, so I’ve kept an eye on it, but a through bolt with a nyloc would be a good long term fix. The shock CTD lever doesn’t do anything, but we ran it with such low pressure for the boys’ weight it wouldn’t make a difference anyway. 

Forks: Fox Forx Talas RLC – 125mm travel. The seals are a little shonky and there’s a bit of mild wear on one stanchion. They were a gift from a friend so I’ll be donating some of the money from this sale to a charity close to his heart as a thank you.

Other bits:

Cranks and BB: 150mm children’s cranks with square taper BB. I fitted them then forgot about them – it all just works. there’s a random small narrow wide chainring that’s not dropped a chain ever on there too.

Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs on Mavic rims for the 26″ wheels. I have 9mm thru axle end caps for the front so you’ll need to find a solid 9mm QR or get the QR skewer adapters from Hope or on here – there are probably loads floating around. The rear has the 142x12mm caps, so again, time to do a bit of drawer diving. If I find these before the sale I’ll chuck them in.

Shimano non series hubs on 24″ trials rims with Schwalbe Black Jacks. The rims are drilled out Because Trials which makes them nice and light bit also quite wide. 

QRs: Shimano rear, fancy dan Salsa Flip Off front

Brakes: A choice of either Magura HS2s (pictured) that I’ve never shortened the hoses on, or Deore 2 pots with definitely shortened hoses.  180/160 rotors.

Dropper: Brand-X 125mm external dropper with a random lever that works with small hands.

Cockpit: Race Face stem, Crank Brothers bars, M:Part headset 

You’ll need to add:

Chain, cassette, shifter, grips, pedals, saddle. Other than that, it’s complete.
