Selling my 2015 Genesis Volare 40 Road Bike. This bike has had very little use, I bought it in 2018 when it had covered a mere 500 miles from new. I have probably covered 1000 miles on it in the time I have had it, but have upgraded and replaced many components anyway…
-Genesis Volare 853 steel frame 56cm (suit from about 5ft9 to 6ft1 give or take)
-Carbon fork
-Campagnolo Athena 11spd groupset
-Gearing now changed to 34/50 chainrings and 12-29 Chorus cassette (can be swapped back to original 36/52 rings and 12-27 cassette if the buyer would prefer)
-Hunt 4 Season Aero wheelset, setup tubeless with Conti GP5000 tubeless tyres.
-Upgraded FSA SL-K 110mm stem and Omega 42cm bars and Zipp Bar Tape
This bike will do its new owner proud, being steel the ride quality is superb and the Campag groupset will likely outlast several shimano groupsets, but not only that, all cabling is external so it’s really simple to service compared to a modern aero bike!
Advertised for £795ono… Happy to deliver within a couple of hours of Worcester.
