It’s a few years old now (2012) but this is still a great bike. It came in for test and I ended up buying it. It has history. It has actually won the 3 Peaks. Well, the rider did when there main bike broke and they had borrowed this one from me as a spare. Good job she did. Here it is in FGF 158! https://singletrackworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/fresh-goods-friday-158-2/ It’s size 52cm. It’s been ridden and has scratches but it’s had a good service and everything is fully operational. Couple of upgrades, one more useful that the other – Better tyres – Continental Cyclo Xking and there’s a ‘you can’t buy this’ Specialized test saddle, which you might hate or love.
- Shimano Tiagra twin ring groupset and shifters.
- Avid BB7 Road disc brakes.
- Alexa XO Lite rims
Can prolly box it up and post it via a courier from the Singletrack office or come visit and take a look at it in the flesh. The review of this bike turned up in issue 74. Members head to your downloads to have a look. It’s on page 120. Here’s the summary for that review..
Overall: A bright and breezy off road bike, that just happens to have narrow, knobbly tyres. The spec is near-on faultless and it’s a true off the shelf ‘do everything’ bike. Tweak it more road, or more off-road, or just leave it as is. It’d make a fine race bike, but we suspect that’s going to be last on your mind when you cave in and slap down the plastic.
