I expect most people on a forum like this will be aware of this bike, but for completeness: this is one of the finest aluminium race bikes you can get, superb for a lower-cost entry to racing that can survive the odd put-me-down. The geometry and tube shaping make it a really “fun” bike to ride; definitely predating system integration for aerodynamics, but really nippy, playful and fairly unabusive over rougher roads. With some deep wheels on, there’s plenty of flexibility in the cockpit to make yourself low and narrow, so it’s still definitely a contender in the right hands, or just a race-geometry-specific trainer, or a genuine mile-muncher. Unfortunately, I need to make some room for something with suspension, so it’s time to say goodbye.
