This is a built to order steel bike security cage fabricated in Sheffield in the summer of 2022. Original invoice available.
Measures 130cm tall x 90cm wide x 180cm long.
It has a clasp for a padlock or security wire (not supplied) which is covered (please see photo of the box on the gate) and holes drilled into the base so that it can be drilled into concrete and secured to the ground.
The size of the cage means that it should be possible to store a number of bikes (handlebars twisted and pedals removed). I’ve only ever needed to store two bikes in the cage.
It may be possible to store a motorbike, please check dimensions.
It is very heavy and will require a van to collect, I’ll help load.
The bikes contained in the cage survived a burglary in 2023, rear garage wall smashed down, footprint found on the wood on the cage but no bikes taken.
