Win a Pro Level Mountain Bike (and more!) with World Bicycle Relief

by 0

To mark the UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland, there are a number of World Bicycle Relief fundraisers happening. Some of them have some amazing prizes to be won. It’s not 100% clear… we’re told they’re mostly replicas rather than the actual bike ridden by a star of the bike world in actual races – something may have been lost in translation. But hey, they’re still cool bikes… with fewer scratches if they’ve not been raced, right?!

Update: Evie will have raced hers! It’s an actual race bike. Which will make you faster, for sure.

  • Win Evie Richards’ Trek Supercaliber 9.9 (Size: M), as raced at World Cup races this season
  • Frame: Trek OCLV Carbon Mainframe
  • Fork: Sid Ultimate 32 x 100mm
  • Rear Derailleur: SRAM AXS T-Type XX
  • Special bike design revealed on August 8th! But you can still enter now.
  • Kate Courtney’s limited-edition SCOTT Spark RC mountain bike (Size: M), which she will ride at the 2023 UCI World Championships in Scotland
  • Fork: RockShox SID Ultimate
  • Drivetrain: SRAM GX T-Type Eagle AXS
  • Brakes: SRAM Level Bronze Stealth
  • Take home Dutch cycling icon Annemiek van Vleuten’s limited-edition Canyon Aeroad CFR Disc (Size: XS) in the World Championship paint scheme ridden by Canyon athletes
  • Frame: Canyon AERO WMN CFR Disc
  • Fork: Canyon FK0060 CF Disc
  • Headset: Canyon Acros
  • Wheelset: Zipp 303S Tubeless
  • Dutch cycling legend Marianne Vos’ Cervélo S5 (Size: S), which she will ride at the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland

  • Chain: SRAM RED
  • Tires: Vittoria Corsa TLR 28

The above competitions close on 30th September, head here to donate and enter.

A little more road focussed in nature, but still with some great options, there is also an auction. Here you can bid on bikes, race day VIP experiences, and more. Bids are open until 10th August, so check them out and bid for the things that take your fancy. A year’s supply of Clif Bars, anyone?

While you’re here…

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.
