Megasack Giveaway Day 14: DexShell top to toe bundle

by 13

Waterproof gear – probably as much of an obsession for the UK mountain biker as tyres. Win a whole pile of it here!

We have daily (week day) prizes to be won, plus another of each prize which goes into our Megasack. Each day that you enter, you might win the daily prize. Whoop! But each daily entry also counts as an entry to win the Megasack. Enter every day to maximise your chances of winning the Megasack. Miss out on a daily entry because you don’t think that prize is one you want? You’re losing out on an extra chance to win the Megasack. Even if you’ve missed the daily draw, don’t worry, because you can still go back and enter in order to boost your chances of winning the Megsack.

To enter, you need to be logged in – it’s free to sign up. Once logged in, the entry box will reveal itself with a question. Answer it correctly to submit your entry. Easy peasy! Please note that prizes can only be sent to a UK address. Now that you’re caught up on what’s going on, let’s find out about the first great prize we have for you.

DexShell top to toe bundle

Keep all your extremities dry and warm with this great bundle worth £156! It contains…

Dexshell Watch Beanie A waterproof beanie with a blended wool shell and soft fleece lining. Breathable, warm and dry.
Just what you need before and after those rainy day rides.

Dexshell Windproof Skull Cap – For while you’re on the bike, this windproof skull cap is made of Porelle® DRY laminated fabric with a breathable and two-way stretch shell. This means that the cap is close to the head and can be worn comfortably under a helmet when cycling for maximum protection. So light you will forget you are wearing it!

Dexshell – StretchFit Gloves – Waterproof cycling gloves with touchscreen compatibility and a dextrous fit. StretchFit single layer composite fabric with DEXFUZE™ micro dotting lamination technology which bonds together the knitted glove liner and the ergonomic outer glove, eliminating movement between the layers for great fit with superb dexterity and grip control in wet conditions. Dry and warm without feeling cumbersome or bulky. Index fingers and thumbs are touchscreen compatible.

Dexshell – Ultra Thin Crew Socks – The longer version of DexShell’s thin and flexible waterproof socks are ideal for cycling and any activity where dry warm feet are appreciated. The Porelle membrane delivers waterproof and breathable performance while the bamboo mix inner does a great job at moisture management. The longer length keeps more front wheel spray and dirt away from entering the sock and keeps calf muscles warm.

Dexshell – Heavy Duty Overshoes – Keep the worst of the dirt off your shoes and add a layer of warmth. Constructed from heavy duty neoprene fabric with a water resistant reflective zipper. The elastic cuff band with silicone gripper ensures a slip-free fit. A semi-open sole with abrasion-resistant fabric panels reinforces the entire toe area and the middle sole.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

I’m loving Benji’s highbrow cultural reference, it’s about time someone raised the intellectual tone around here.

However, thinking about it, I think he meant Thomas Cromwell.

With my dodgy hearing there were so many things I had to listen to again. Some sounded highly inappropriate at first listen. Others odd. And I missed the critical reference several times.

Wow, I’m a winner, I never win stuff!

Also slightly embarrassing as I’m so far behind the times my mountain bike is a 26er 5-Spot, and I don’t think I can squeeze these onto the Fargo. Swapsies is likely somewhere down the line. Still, I’m a winner! That’s always good, thanks Singletrack.
