Anders concludes this short series looking at the changing face of mountain bike media, with a look at the shifting expectations on athletes. From racer to content creator, Wyn Masters is one of the best at walking the line between these worlds. The charismatic Kiwi laughter makes its way through my screen as an anecdote involving mountain bike fans and alcoholic beverages unfolds. I think Wyn is great. WynTv has become an essential part of my pre and post – race World Cup viewing now.

He’s really developed a bond with so many of the riders and that leads to you also getting to know them better.

His privateer award scheme was a masterstroke of an idea and is such a great way of supporting these up and coming riders.

More power to your elbow Wyn 👍
